The more powerful the car, the better oil you need to use. Higher quality oils give longer engine life and better performance in high power cars. The everyday driver doesn’t need the same oils as the competition driver so at Auto Workshop we have oils and lubricants for all types of use.

Experience has shown us that a combination of Motul and Castrol motor oils give the best overall performance.

Motul oils for the engine:

Motul engine oils are regarded as some of the finest engine oils available. We use a range of Motul engine oils depending on your requirement. Motul 300v (used in the ‘300-RED’ Service package) is a group five ‘double ester’ type motor oil making it one of the best engine oils money can buy. It’s specifications exceed those of most other engine oils including Mobil1.

Castrol oils for the transmission:

Castrol manufacture a range of extremely fine transmission oils. We use a carefully selected range of these oils depending on the vehicle and your requirements.

 

Here are the service levels explained in more detail:

· ‘41-BLUE’ Service: This service level is designed for the everyday driver who wants quality and affordability. This service level is suitable for all makes/models including all turbo charged vehicles. Depending on the service your vehicle is due for we use some (or all) of the following products:

· ‘Motul 4100 Turbolight’ synthetic engine oil, generic filters, DOT 4 brake fluid, Castrol high performance gear oils and conventional NGK spark plugs.

 

· ‘81-GREEN’ Service: This service is designed for powerful cars driven by demanding drivers. This level of service is recommended for all makes and models and represents excellent value while retaining extremely high quality oils and filters. Depending on the service your vehicle is due for we use some (or all) of the following products:

· ‘Motul 8100 x-cess’ 100% synthetic engine oil (equivalent to Mobil 1), OEM filters, DOT 4 brake fluid, Castrol high performance gear oils and NGK platinum/iridium spark plugs.

 

· ‘300-RED’ Service: This high performance service is designed for vehicles that are driven close to their limits, vehicles in competition and for those who want the very best oils available for their vehicle. The finest quality engine and gear oils are utilised to give maximum performance and supreme reliability even under heavy loads and extremely high power outputs. Depending on the service your vehicle is due for we use some (or all) of the following products:

· ‘Motul 300v Chrono’ Double Ester engine oil (extremely high quality racing oil), OEM filters, Motul Racing Brake Fluid 600, Castrol fully synthetic gear oils and NGK platinum/iridium spark plugs.
