Routine Servicing

When should you service your car..?

All vehicles need routine servicing. Not doing so will invalidate any warranty you have and inevitably lead to problems, breakdowns and expensive repair bills..!

Every vehicle has specific service requirements that are attended to at set intervals throughout its life. The correct interval depends on what car you drive and how you drive it. Typically, for the everyday car, it’s every 10,000kms or six months (whichever comes first). However if you drive a high performance car, a Mitsubishi EVO or Nissan GTR for example, then an interval of 5,000kms (or six months) is more appropriate.

What we do:

All our routine services reflect the manufacturers service schedules for each make, model and type of vehicle. When you get your car serviced at Auto Workshop you can be confident that it is being looked after as the manufacturer intended, if not better..!

We will even send you out a reminder to let you know when your service is due - very important, especially if you have a vehicle warranty.

We also offer while you wait servicing - click here for more details.

The process:

All our services start with a 124 point system wide vehicle inspection to ascertain the condition of the vehicle. This will identify whether there are any other items to be attended to and whether or not any additional work is required (i.e. worn brake pads, cracked drive belts, split hoses etc.).

If we find anything we will always quote on the additional items and get the customers permission before we carry out any extra work.

Oils and Lubricants:

We offer a wide range of oils and lubricants suited to all applications. We use high quality Motul products in engines and Castrol gear oils in transmissions. We also have highly specialised products for high performance and motorsport applications; including fully synthetic gear oils, racing brake fluids and double ester type engine oils.

The price:

Routine servicing starts at $175.00.
